The excitement of last night’s conclusion of the £300 Main Event at DTD’s Deepstack Festival has now passed and emerging from the carnage that was the post-deal final table is Sandeep Shah, who has taken down this event - the biggest ever £300 poker tournament held in Europe.

We had a really great time covering this event and it was great that so many of you came over to see us and have a chat about what we’re doing. Our next event is the £1000 Main Event of the February Poker Festival at the Broadway Casino in Birmingham, which kicks off on Thursday 19th February, so we hope to see as many of you there as possible as we broadcast 100% live for the first time!

Big thanks have to go to DTD for their hospitality as always and to all the players who were kind enough to give interviews, even immediately after busting from the tournament. This event had a really great atmosphere and showcased why DTD is the premier poker venue in Europe, so a big hand to everyone who came along and packed the place out over the course of the two days.

We’re about 90 minutes from resuming play here at Dusk Till Dawn and the chip counts for the top 10 at the start of the day are as follows:

Impressively, the field was whittled down to 91 players before the close of play last night, which despite a late night for the players hopefully means that they won’t have to play deep into the night again tonight.

Our overnight chip leader is Jim Peppercorn, ho you might remember laid down KK preflop in the early stages yesterday to his opponent’s Aces. Ji is sitting on almost 120k and must be feeling good about his chances going into the second day today.

Notable names still involved in the action include GUKPT and EPT winner Julian Thew, who is sitting with just over 36,000 in chips.
